How Hayao Miyazaki Inspired The Most Surreal Time-Travel Movie Of The Year

In A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, there are magic doors. That’s it, there’s no explanation for why David (Colin Farrell) and Sarah (Margot Robbie) can walk through magic doors standing in the middle of nowhere, and get transported back to key moments in their lives. Is it time travel? Do they have to abide by Back to the Future rules? Why is this happening, and who is making it happen?
