How Graham Potter responded to Chelsea boos amid 'arrogant' claim and sacking threat

Graham Potter admitted he is understanding of criticism from Chelsea supporters after his side were booed off the pitch following their 1-0 defeat to basement boys Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

Despite registering 17 shots and dominating 61% of possession on home soil, a trademark James Ward Prowse free-kick extended the Blues' winless streak to five matches across all competitions and ensured they would remain in a severely underwhelming position of 10th.

Whilst it would, perhaps, be harsh to attribute the majority of this season's failings to Potter, the former Brighton boss did not help himself by resting the likes of Thiago Silva and Reece James this afternoon. Increasing frustration amongst the fanbase is fast becoming comprehensible.
