How ex-Celt Brian McLaughlin helped to end Scottish football's 'inferiority complex'

It is 33 years now since Brian McLaughlin made his first team debut for Celtic, but his gratitude to the men who helped him to realise his childhood dream has not diminished any with the passage of time.

His appreciation for everything that his coach Frank Connor, team mates Pat Bonner, Peter Grant, Paul McStay and Charlie Nicholas and manager Tommy Burns did for him during his time at Parkhead back in the 1990s was obvious as he chatted over a coffee earlier this week.
