Everton have this evening published their accounts that cover the 2021/22 campaign.
They come on the back of the Premier League referring the club to an independent commission over an alleged breach of profit and sustainability rules for the "period ending season 2021/22". Everton "strongly contests the allegation of non-compliance" and the club are confident they remain "compliant with all financial rules and regulations".
The headline figure from the accounts, which cover the whole of last season, is that the Blues posted a £44.7m loss. That represents a £76m (63%) reduction on the club's £121.3m loss for the 2020/21 campaign.
