Japanese mystery writer Keigo Higashino has died at the age of 68 in Tokyo, with his publisher saying the cause of death was colorectal cancer. The author, best known for The Devotion of Suspect X, died on 23 July, and his funeral was held privately, according to statements issued by his publisher and carried by Japanese media.
