How can each of the Boston Celtics’ core players get better? Much ado has been made about the Celtics’ addition of star big man Kristaps Porzingis given the synergy his style of play can create with Boston’s All-NBA forwards Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. What about the individual steps each core member of the Celtics’ roster can take to improve his game in pursuit of an NBA title in the postseason to come?
Brown already has solid defensive instincts, but by becoming a lockdown defender, he can significantly affect the game’s outcome on nights when his shot is not falling. Similarly, Tatum’s consistency in scoring could be improved by refining his shot selection to become an even more formidable offensive presence.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics” podcast got together on a recent episode to talk about more granular improvements for Boston’s best players.
Check out the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
