How bank holidays are created as UK to get day off for King’s coronation

The UK will get a bank holiday on Monday, May 8, to celebrate King Charles III’s coronation, which will take place on Saturday, May 6.

Schools, businesses, and government offices will be allowed to closed, allowing workers to celebrate the occasion with a long weekend.
