After drunkenly selecting a skull and crossbones tattoo design nearly 20 years ago, Maine Democrat Graham Platner was looking for a cover-up while on the campaign trail.
While out on leave in Croatia with fellow Marines, Platner claims he didn't realize the design was recognized as a nazi symbol, something he says he discovered on the campaign trail for a key U.S. Senate seat.
While weighing his options of multiple sessions of laser removal, Platner decided to call a friend to help him get rid of it.
