The Central Asia Gas Ring would connect Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan through more than 3,000 kilometres of new and upgraded pipelines.

The proposal was discussed at the second Central Asia Oil and Gas Forum in Tashkent.
