A money expert is urging people to pay their energy bills over the coming months or facing "ending up in the courts".
Holly Mackay, founder of website Boring Money, warned households that large energy firms will come after people if they refuse to pay for gas and electricity over the coming months.
Momentum has gathered in recent weeks for the Don't Pay campaign which aims to gathering a million people across the UK to "pledge not to pay if the government goes ahead with another massive hike on October 1st".
