House that's 'ready to go' up for sale at just £10,000

A two-bed terraced house has been put up for sale with a starting bid of just £10,000. The home is said to be "ready to go".

It goes to auction next week with the low starting price. The buyer will also need to pay a £1,200 buyer's premium and a £1,200 admin charge, alongside any disbursements that may become payable by the purchaser on completion.

But whoever snaps it up could get a bargain home, which features a purple exterior and two bay windows. It's listed on Zoopla and is described as being in "good order", albeit it has not been inspected internally as yet.

It has a hallway, sitting room, dining room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. There's a yard at the back and the EPC rating is E, reports the Liverpool ECHO.

The listing said: "The property is situate on Bellamy Road, Liverpool, amongst other properties of a similar style, and is well positioned for access to the city centre and its wealth of facilities and amenities, including Lime Street station and other major transport links.

"A traditionally constructed bay fronted mid terrace house, believed to be in good order and providing an excellent ‘ready to go’ opportunity for the investor with a tenant in situ generating £6,600 per annum, and thus a strong yield, in an area with ongoing strong rental demand."

Bidding for the home opens on July 17 at 1pm and is scheduled to end on July 18 at 1pm. To register to bid see auctionhouse.co.uk/lincolnshire
