House Republicans strengthened their financial position heading into the final stretch of the 2026 midterm elections, with the party's campaign arm raising more money than its Democratic counterpart in June and opening a significant cash advantage.
According to Axios, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) raised $17.6 million in June, surpassing the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) by approximately $1.2 million during the month. The fundraising success boosted the NRCC's cash reserves to $92.7 million, compared with $79 million for House Democrats.
