House Judiciary Committee continues investigation into DOJ and FBI

Access to the brand of Joe Biden was what they were selling.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan has been vocal about the lack of experience and services provided by individuals associated with the Biden family who received tens of millions of dollars. Jordan stated that the selling point for these individuals was access to the Biden brand and Joe Biden himself. This information was reportedly revealed during depositions and interviews conducted by the committee.

As part of their investigation, the committee has been working through various witnesses to gather more information. They have upcoming interviews scheduled with Rob Walker, Eric Schwerin, Rob Gordon, Tony Bobulinski, Jim Biden, and Hunter Biden in the month of February. Following these interviews, the committee will need to decide whether to move forward with articles of impeachment.

Jordan also raised the question of accountability for previous cases involving Eric Holder and Lois Lerner, who were not prosecuted. Although hesitant at first, the committee decided to issue a second subpoena to Hunter Biden in order to get to the facts. However, it remains unclear whether Attorney General Merrick Garland would hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress.

Furthermore, the House Judiciary Committee has been investigating whether the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) were weaponized and criminalized. Jordan highlighted the irony of Vice President Kamala Harris criticizing the weaponization of the DOJ, considering her previous support for a bail fund for individuals involved in the 2020 summer riots. Jordan also emphasized the alleged censorship of Americans by the DOJ, including labeling parents as terrorists and pro-life Catholics as extremists. He further accused the DOJ of spying on President Trump and initiating investigations against him.

Jordan stated that equal justice and the consistent application of laws are vital for the country. He stressed the importance of exposing the alleged misconduct within various government agencies, particularly the DOJ, in order to ensure the well-being of the nation.

The House Judiciary Committee's investigation and questioning of witnesses is ongoing, with the aim of gathering all relevant facts and making informed decisions regarding potential articles of impeachment. The committee's focus remains on upholding the principles of justice and equality in the American legal system.
