Rescue teams are digging through the rubble of a family home looking for survivors after a two-story house collapsed. Emergency services were called to Langford Road in Portsmouth, in the early hours of the morning to reports of a serious incident.
Two people were rushed to hospital from the scene. Their condition is currently unknown.
Fire crews from Hampshire and Isle of Wight are currently on the scene with specialist Urban Search and Rescue teams combing the rubble to check for anyone trapped in the wreckage. The Mirror reports that police have sealed off the area and evacuated nearby properties while structural checks are made.
