The GOP-led House budget committee is moving forward with a one-bill plan to advance President Donald Trump’s legislative agenda. Rep. Ralph Norman, a member of the panel, mentioned that details are still being worked out after a budget committee meeting on Tuesday morning. Norman, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, indicated that there is growing agreement among members on the plan.
Norman dismissed the Senate’s two-bill strategy, stating that the House proposal includes more significant cuts, aligning with promises made to the American people. He highlighted that the Senate's plan is incomplete and lacks specific numbers in certain areas.
