Hour-by-hour weather forecast for Easter Monday as temperatures set to drop across Manchester

Those enjoying basking in blazing sun and hot temperatures today, Easter Sunday, will see clouds form overhead and the temperatures drop again for bank holiday Monday (April 18). The average temperature across Greater Manchester will peak at a measger 12 degrees on Monday following a weekend of soaring temperatures.

The Easter weekend warm spell continued throughout today (Sunday) with temperatures topping around 20C across Manchester. Sunny spells continued throughout the day however into the evening, skies are set to turn overcast and there is a chance of precipitation.

According to the Met Office, there is a chance of light rain late on Sunday evening, into the early hours of Monday. Their website states the region is likely to see some "light and patchy" outbreaks of rain overnight and into Monday morning.

There is a 90 per cent chance of rain between 12 and 1 am on Monday morning, with overcast conditions set for the rest of the day. However, there is a chance there could be some small sunny outbreaks between 12 and 2pm, and later on between 6 and 8pm.

Temperatures have already been much higher than usual for April this week, according to the Met Office. The daytime average in the UK for April is highs of 13C in the South East and West, while elsewhere sees highs of 12C and 11C.

Hour by hour forecast for Manchester on Monday (April 18).

12am: 90 per cent chance of rain over the region. Temperatures around 11C.

1am : Heavy rainfall still expected and overcast conditions. 10C.

2am: Light rain a possibility, will feel like 9C and winds of 14mph.

3am : Dry conditions, 11C.

4am : Continued overcast conditions but dry, feeling cooler at 8C.

5am : Much the same, dry and cloudy, 10C.

6am : 9C and overcast, 13mph winds.

7am : Will feel cooler, at 7C. Still remaining overcast.

8am: Remaining dry and cloudy overhead. 9C.

9am: 20 per cent chance of rainfall, 10C but will feel like 8 with 15mph winds.

10am: Winds at 16mph, 10C but will feel like 8C.

11am: Will feel like 9C with 18mph winds. Remaining dry.

12pm: Chance of some sunny intervals, highs of 12C

1pm: Same conditions with sunny spells, still cloudy. 12C.

2pm: Sunny intervals continuing, peaking at 13C.

3pm: Overcast conditions, 12C.

4pm: Remaining cloudy, will feel like 11C with 15mph winds.

5pm: Overcast, 12C.

6pm: More chances of sunny intervals, 11C and remaining cloudy in areas.

7pm: Sunny across the region, highs of 12C.

8pm: Sunny spells continuing into evening, 10C.

9pm: Dry and clear evening, 9C.

10pm: Calm conditions, overcast. 8C.

11pm: Cloudy and still, temperatures of 7C.
