North East residents will have to wait a little longer before we're blessed with brighter days according to the Met Office.
The forecast tomorrow looks to be wet, with more rain descending upon Newcastle and its surrounding areas - as well as an abundance of gloomy dark clouds to match the tone. Highs of 9C and choppy lows of 4C are expected to accompany.
And Friday looks to bring more of the same according to the experts at the Met Office, with further clouds rolling in and light showers in the evening. Highs of 10C and lows of 5C are set to come.
