Fresh on the heels on Una Healy's ill-fated 'throuple' with David Haye and Sian Osborne, newlywed Nicola Peltz has now said she's got the same thing going on with husband Brooklyn Beckham and best mate Selena Gomez.
The billionaire's daughter married David and Victoria Beckham's first born in a lavish ceremony last year.
And Nicola, 28, says there's already a third person in the relationship, and that's Selena, 30.
Asked what the relationship is like between Brooklyn, 24, and her bestie, Nicola told Cosmopolitan: "Oh my god. We're like, 'Yeah, we are a throuple.' We are all three best friends."
Nicola and Selena bonded instantly when they first crossed paths years ago. But it was at a swanky awards ceremony in 2022 that they really hit it off.
"I had met her once in passing a few years ago, and then we all went to this event in September, the Academy Gala," she continued.
"We just clicked and had the best time. And then we became super, super close. I feel like she's my soul sister. I love her so much."
They're certainly not the first celebrity trio to define themselves as a 'throuple'. From The Saturday's Una's three-way-love to Bella Thorne's unconventional set-up and those Rita ora pictures, The Mirror explores the hottest showbiz threesomes...
Una Healy, David Haye and Sian Osborne
Rumours that Una was in a throuple with David and Sian started in January after the singer posted a snap of the trio posing in a pool in Morocco.
"Happy new year and may 2023 be everything you hoped for," David captioned his post.
"If a picture says a thousand words, then this one says exactly what it needs to."
He added that he started the year, "surrounding myself with understanding beautiful human beings, who do not judge".
In another post, he celebrated his 'Queens', captioning a shot of the swimwear-clad trio with: "Happy Valentine's Day to the beautiful Queens in my life, making my world a better place to live in!"
The supposed throuple didn't last long though, with Una reportedly calling time on the relationship when the other two went on a long getaway to Costa Rica without her.
The 41-year-old star removed all traces of the pair on her Instagram page, and pals said the mother-of-two wanted to spend time focusing on her family.
A source told The Sun: "Una is taking time out from the situation because it is a bit of a head spin.
"Her kids are always her number one priority.
"There are complicated feelings at play, with them (David and Sian) being away together without her."
Hinting at her heartache, Una later uploaded - then deleted - a loved-up snap to her Instagram Stories.
The image of the pair posing on the beach was captioned: "It was me and him x".
Bella Thorne, Tana Mongeau and Mod Sun
Bella Thorne started dating influencer Tana Mongeau in 2017, and from the outset they enjoyed a polyamorous relationship.
Rapper Mod Sun was then introduced to the fold, and even stayed with Bella for several months after she and Tana split in 2019.
And speaking of their unusual romance, Bella told Gay Times: "I don't think anybody will really understand the bonds that I share with Mod or Tana.
"Yeah, we joke around about poly, but we aren't in the sense that we don't put a word, a box or label too many things. It is what it is.
"It's a really fun experience and I have been able to capture that a couple times, and I just love that idea."
Of the reality of dating as a trio, she revealed that it often takes some creativity.
"I love loving two people at once. I love sharing stories with three people in one room. So, I'm always trying to find ways to make it work because I think it really would make me happy," she added.
Rita Ora, Taika Waititi and Tessa Thompson
Rita went viral when pictures surfaced of her, now husband Taika and American actress looking cosy on a balcony in Sydney.
Throuple rumours abounded, but Rita later shut the talk down, insisting it was all just fun and games after a night on the sauce.
"Have you ever been in a situation where you've had a lot of drinks and everyone's your best friend?
"And then the next day you're like, 'I was talking to this person in the smoking area for four hours and I've got no idea who they are?'
"Literally – that [photo] was just a bunch of friends having a good time. They [Taika and Tessa] had a crazy schedule and everyone was letting loose," she told GQ magazine.
Rita added that even though the trio weren't in a 'throuple' she was praised by her LGBTQIA+ fanbase for 'normalising' the situation.
When asked about the rumours at the time, Taika said: "I think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick".
In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, he added: "And also, 'is it that big a deal?' No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It's fine."
The acclaimed director and Rita reportedly tied the knot last summer with the couple said to have exchanged vows in an intimate and "special" ceremony held in London.
