Dak Prescott’s “Here we go!” cadence before the snap became a signature sound of the Dallas Cowboys’ 2023 season.
However, that phrase now has opened the Cowboys’ quarterback up to ridicule. There might have been a bit of that as Dallas’s humiliating 48–32 wild-card playoff defeat to the Green Bay Packers was reaching its end Sunday evening.
As Packers quarterback Jordan Love was calling out his cadence before taking a knee in victory formation, Fox Sports mics picked up him saying “Here we go,” albeit not as full-throated as Prescott typically makes his call.
Was Love trolling Prescott and the Cowboys after a dominant playoff win? Or was it more of a subtle dig? Check out the clip:

If Love really meant to stick it to Prescott, he might have yelled louder. Yet delivering the cadence quietly and quickly may have been the equivalent of a smirk and a nudge to his fellow quarterback.
Whether Love was trolling or not, he and the Packers certainly got the last word by embarrassing the Cowboys in their own stadium.
The expectations couldn’t have been much higher for Dallas going into the playoffs as the NFC’s No. 2 seed. However, Green Bay is advancing to the divisional round and a matchup with the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
