A woman who switched off a fellow hospital patient’s oxygen tank because it was noisy faces manslaughter charges after she died.

Doctors resuscitated 79-year-old Hilal K when they realised her machine had been switched off, however she later died from complications.

Police in Mannheim, Germany, are currently holding the 72-year-old patient, known as Hatun C, who shared the pensioner’s room at Diako Mannheim general hospital, in custody as investigations continue.
