A day of knife violence in Merseyside saw three people injured.
The first incident on Thursday occurred in Rock Ferry where a man and woman were stabbed following a "disturbance" at a house. Officers were called at around 10.40am where it was reported there was a disturbance at a house on Mulberry Road in Rock Ferry during which two people were stabbed and a window smashed.
A 38-year-old man received serious injuries to his leg and head which are not believed to be life-threatening. A 29-year-old woman sustained minor wounds to her arms.

In an update today a Merseyside Police spokesperson said both victims were now recovering at home. A cordon was in place at both ends of the street and forensic officers were also seen working behind police tape on the road and putting evidence into bags.
A number of police cars were also in attendance and eyewitnesses said they saw two ambulances at the scene. According to police the suspects rode off on bikes on to Old Chester Road towards Green Lane.
Police said enquiries are ongoing and an investigation is underway including witness, CCTV and forensic enquiries which are being carried out in the local area. This was not the only shocking incident to occur on Thursday.
In Southport, emergency services were called to West Street at around 9pm after reports of an assault. At the scene they found a man had been stabbed near the junction of Coronation Walk.
The victim, in his 50s, was said to have suffered injuries that were not believed to be serious. He remains in hospital for treatment where police said he was in a stable condition.
