The Charlotte Hornets coaching search has began with some notable candidates as the list continues to grow.
On Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that the team would be interviewing Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson, Bucks assistant Darvin Ham, Mavericks assistant Sean Sweeney, and long-time head coach Mike D’Antoni.
On Wednesday, Wojnarowski’s report expanded as two more names were added to Mitch Kupchak’s list, in Bucks assistant Charles Lee and Nets assistant David Vanterpool.

Charles Lee became a popular coaching candidate last offseason, interviewing for vacancies with the Magic, Pelicans, and Wizards. This go-around, Lee’s name serviced as an early candidate for the Kings job.
David Vanterpool just finished up his first season as an assistant with the Brooklyn Nets following a two-year stint with the Minnesota Timberwolves and a sic-year stint in Portland.
