Hopyard beer festival returns to Bristol with 18 breweries and street food

Propyard's Easter beer festival is returning to Bristol this year with a strong line-up of breweries and food traders. Hopyard will be coming to Feeder Road in April to showcase some of the very best brewers in Bristol and across the UK - and best of all, all the beer is included in the ticket price.

The city's brewing scene has flourished over the past ten years with many companies deciding to set up in Bristol. Organisers of Hopyard have expanded their offering from 12 to 18 breweries for the third edition of the event, offering an array of different craft beers and ciders after the success of the Easter and Oktoberfest events in 2022.

This year's line-up at the popular BS2 venue will feature South West legends ARBOR Ales, Left Handed Giant, Wiper & True, Fierce & Noble, Lost & Grounded, Cider Box, Little Martha Brewing, Branch, Kicking Goat Cider, Yonder, Electric Bear and Bristol Cider Company. From further afield, expect drops from Peckham craft beer microbrewery, Brick Brewery, as well as heroes of the UK brewing scene, JUBEL, Cloudwater Brew Co, Beak Brewery, Hackney Church and By The Horns Brewing Co.

Hopyard is a two-day event on April 15 and 16 with tickets available now across three five-hour sessions to drink, eat and listen to music. Food will be provided by the sourdough pizza connoisseurs, Pizzarova, smash burgers from Smoking Buns as well as authentic Mexican and Central American street food from Little Taquero’s.

Friday’s session at Propyard will provide a complete music takeover from Bristol Hifi which includes Massive Attack legend, Daddy G, joined by Queen Bee. On Saturday, UK-based DJ duo The Nextmen will be taking over the decks with their trademark electric electronic vibe in an all-day takeover, with the Crane Room at Propyard remaining open long into the night to keep the party going.

Limited early bird tickets are on sale now for £40 per person with all your beer included. These are available for all three sessions - on Friday evening (6-11pm), Saturday daytime (12-5pm) and Saturday evening (6-11pm). Guests will sample what’s on offer on arrival with brewers from each taproom talking guests through their creations in the intimate and beautiful Courtyard at Propyard.

Hopyard comes to 39-46 Feeder Road on April 14-15, 2023. Friday (6-11pm) and Saturday (12-5pm, 6-11pm). Tickets are available here.
