Hope Hicks Testifies About Relationship With Trump Associates

During her court testimony on Friday, Hope Hicks, the former press secretary for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, revealed that she has not been in communication with the former president since the summer or fall of 2022. Hicks clarified that she currently does not have a professional relationship with Trump.

Having previously worked for the Trump Organization, Hicks shared insights into her transition to the campaign. She noted that shortly after joining the company, Trump initiated an exploratory committee for his presidential bid. Hicks highlighted the evolution of her interactions with Trump, from regular conversations in January 2015 to daily communication by June 2015.

Additionally, Hicks characterized the relationship between Trump and Rhonna Graff, Trump's executive assistant, as one based on 'mutual respect.'

Furthermore, Hicks discussed Trump's association with Allen Weisselberg, the former CFO of the Trump Organization who played a role in managing financial matters related to the campaign. According to Hicks, Trump and Weisselberg held each other in high regard, with Weisselberg being portrayed as a trusted individual within the organization.

Overall, Hicks' testimony provided valuable insights into the dynamics of Trump's relationships with key figures during the critical period leading up to the 2016 presidential election.
