HoYoverse titles Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero will have a collaboration this winter! Revealed during a Special Event Livestream on August 14, the collab will see the universe of HSR welcome ZZZ characters.

Honkai: Star Rail x Zenless Zone Zero collab details
Here’s what we know about the collaboration between Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. First, we don’t have an exact release date yet, but we know it will be later this year, in Winter 2026.
Second, it’s one-way. HSR will have ZZZ elements added to it, but we can expect a little something in the latter game for the Proxies.
Third, several Zenless Zone Zero characters will make their way onto the Trailblazing world of Honkai: Star Rail. Unfortunately, we don’t know yet who these will be. Anby and Nicole are both considered the “poster girls” of ZZZ, and getting a Bangboo as a companion also sounds feasible.
HoYoverse promises to reveal more about the crossover as the date gets nearer.
Previous HoYoverse collabs
This isn’t the first time HoYoverse has crossed the boundaries between its games. Honkai Impact 3rd received Honkai Star Rail-related content back in 2024. This collab introduced Sparkle as a playable Battlesuit in HI3.
Going further back, Honkai Impact 3rd also collabed with Genshin Impact in 2021. This added Fischl and Keqing as playable Battlesuits.
In terms of crossovers in general, the second part of the Honkai: Star Rail x Fate/stay night collaboration is currently ongoing. This added four new playable characters to Honkai: Star Rail: Archer, Rin, Saber, and Gilgamesh.
