The first-ever Honkai Star Rail update livestream is coming down the line, and HoYoverse is shaking up the format a little. While the RPG broadcasts usually happen on Twitch first, with a pre-recorded version going up on YouTube later, you can stream the live version on either platform this time around. As for what to expect, if Genshin Impact – and some leaks – are any indication, we’ll probably see at least two new 5-star characters, a substantial new story update, and some fresh promo codes for free Stellar Jade.
Honkai Star Rail 1.1 livestream time
The stream goes live on May 26, 2023, at:
- 4:30 a.m. PDT
- 7:30 a.m. EDT
- 12:30 p.m. BST
- 1:30 p.m. CEST
- 9:30 p.m. AEDT
As always, you can watch the video-on-demand version after the livestream ends. It usually goes up a few hours later. Make sure to redeem any livestream promo codes as soon as you can, however. Those usually only last until the end of that day.
Where to watch Honkai Star Rail 1.1 livestream
The Star Rail 1.1 livestream will air on the game’s official Twitch channel and YouTube channel. The video-on-demand usually lives on the YouTube channel only, though with HoYoverse changing where the livestream is broadcast, the recorded version might end up on Twitch as well.
You can also watch it here.
What to expect from Honkai Star Rail 1.1
This is Star Rail‘s first version update stream, so it’s not exactly certain how HoYoverse plans to structure it or the new update. If Genshin Impact is anything to go by, though, we can probably expect a brief story teaser continuing the Xianzhou Luofu plot, a new boss, and more new characters, with some tidbits about the update’s events as well. Leaks suggest Luocha and Silver Wolf – the latter of whom is playable in Star Rail‘s opening sequence – will be the version’s 5-star characters, with Yukong as the new 4-star, though HoYoverse hasn’t officially announced any new characters just yet.
Luocha and Yukong would be welcome additions, though. Star Rail currently has just two healers and only one Imaingary character.
Either way, it looks like we’ll be updating our Star Rail tier list in the near future.
