Honda issues recall of thousands of popular model over fears the wheels could fall off

Honda is recalling over 46,000 examples of its popular Civic model due to a significant mechanical issue that could result in wheels falling off.

The Japanese firm is specifically targeting 46,152 vehicles from the 2017-2021 range, all of which were fitted with optional alloy wheels. According to Honda, the defect will only affect 'certain vehicles' within this group.
