Homes Under The Hammer's Martin Roberts has enjoyed another brilliant day out in Wales

Popular TV property presenter Martin Roberts has always shown his love for Wales and that includes buying his own Welsh farmhouse in Rhondda as well as loving transformations in the valleys on Homes Under The Hammer. Now he has been back to Wales enjoying the stunning Brecon Beacons.

Penderyn Distillery recently posted a picture of Martin enjoying whiskey at their distillery. In the photo Martin is looking directly at the camera, holding a glass of whiskey and smiling widely.

Penderyn Distillery captioned the photo: "Great to welcome Homes Under the Hammer presenter, Martin Roberts, to our Brecon Beacons Distillery today. He thoroughly enjoyed the whiskey tasting, as you can tell by the pic!"

It is the latest Welsh adventure for Martin, who is often in Wales filming episodes of the BBC hit daytime show as well as staying at his own valleys farmhouse. And among the other places he's recently visited are the Rhondda Tunnel, donning a hard hat and head torch, as he explored the tunnel which is hoping to be reopened as a cycle route and tourist attraction.

The 58-year-old has been spotted in his local fish and chip shop near the famrhouse which he restored. The property is reported to be one of Rhondda's oldest properties, has four bedrooms and a gated entrance.

Martin has made some modern changes to the Rhondda property including taking down the ceilings to expose the roof structure and white washed some of the walls. The property presenter has also recently taken a trip to the Polish and Ukrainian border to deliver supplies after he became emotional while shopping for the supplies.

Recently Homes Under the Hammer has been filming in Wales, where a Swansea home that Martin visited made a £30,000 profit, and a damp and mouldy valleys terrace was transformed into a light and modern home. For more property news you can sign up to our property newsletter here.
