Homes terrorised by so many rats and flies that residents are too scared to eat indoors

A street plagued by flies and rats is turning a neighbourhood into a 'living hell', residents say.

The infestations have even caused residents in the Salford street in Greater Manchester to claim they are unable to eat their meals without being pestered.

Residents of the houses on Rake Lane are all tenants of Salix Houses say although they have made numerous complaints about the infestations, but haven't gotten any help, reports the Manchester Evening News.
