Homes shot up in Sydney's southwest

NSW police say shots were fired at three homes at Greenacre in Sydney's southwest. (AAP)

Three homes in Sydney's west have been sprayed with bullets in a shooting overnight.

NSW Police say they were called to Maiden Street, Greenacre, shortly before 9:30pm on Tuesday night after a number of shots were fired.

Police found gunshot damage at a property on Maiden Street and two properties on nearby Juno Parade.

Several people were inside each of the homes at the time of the shooting but no-one was injured.

Crime scenes have been established with local police, PolAir, Traffic and Highway Patrol, the Dog Unit, and the Public Order and Riot Squad all involved in the investigation.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from Maiden, Tempe, Karuah or Valencia Streets between 7.30pm and 10pm to contact CrimeStoppers.
