Department of Homeland Security agents are visiting residents’ homes in multiple states to inquire about their immigration status, whether they are registered to vote and whether they have cast ballots in previous elections, according to a new report.
The campaign, which expanded last month, has continued in October, CBS News reported. In photos and videos, agents with Homeland Security Investigations — an arm of Immigration and Customs Enforcement — can be knocking on doors, sometimes while armed.
