Home Secretary demands answers over Nicola Bulley health disclosures

The Home Secretary has demanded police explain their decision for revealing aspects of Nicola Bulley's private life.

Suella Braverman is said to have been concerned after Lancashire Police released a statement disclosing that Nicola suffered "some significant issues with alcohol", which had resurfaced over recent months.

A source close to the Home Secretary told the PA news agency she received an explanation from police on Thursday evening. It's three weeks since Nicola disappeared after dropping off her daughters, aged six and nine, at school on January 27 in St Michael's on Wyre, Lancashire.
