Home Bargains shopper praises 'clever' £3 sink product in viral TikTok video

A Home Bargains shopper has shared a video on TikTok about one of its products, and it has since been viewed almost 200,000 times.

The user cleanwith_kayleigh uploaded a clip of themselves trying out the budget giant's £3 Sink Bowl and Strainer.

The basin comes with a strainer built-in, which means water can be drained straight out of it without needing to tip it over and empty it into a sink.

In the video, cleanwith_kayleigh states: "I went to Home Bargains and picked up this sink bowl which was only £2.99. I've seen it all over TikTok so of course I had to give it a try myself."

She then proceeds to give a demonstration of the product by filling the tub with water and soap, and soaking her sponges before turning the plug at the bottom to drain it.

After that, they repeated the process with dirty dishes to further show off the product, stating: "I'm hoping with this sink bowl that the dirty water won't be left behind after doing the dishes because it's really simple to drain."

Since being shared, the TikTok has received almost 17,000 likes and nearly 150 comments from cleaning fans giving their verdict.

One stated: "We got this a couple of years ago we couldn't imagine using anything different."

"I've had mine over a year no issues," a second echoed.

A third agreed: "It's a game-changer helped reducing the scratches on my sink."

Another raved: "Had mine for over a year now, same colour from Home Bargains. Best thing I’ve ever bought."

"If you’ve got a ceramic sink like myself then a bowl is a god send no scratches," shared a fifth.

"How clever," a sixth simply said.

However some TikTok users weren't so impressed by the sink bowl, with one commenting: "It’s just something else to clean."

"They're not the best," warned a second.
