Home and international growth outlined as student accommodation provider weathers pandemic

Hull student accommodation provider Kexgill has weathered the pandemic’s impact on university attendance, setting itself up for further international growth as it makes major investments on the home front.

Turnover fell from £13.7m to £12.5 million in the year to June 30, 2021, with operating profit down from £2.9 million to £2.5 million.

Since year end it has spent more than £10 million on further sites in Liverpool and Nottingham, while selling property considered too far from campuses.
