Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo has shared an update with his fans as he continues his battle with terminal brain cancer.
The actor, 35 - who is best known for playing Chris Harrington on the Australian soap - had initially been diagnosed with brain cancer back in 2017.
It was reported in 2019 that he was cancer-free, but Johnny announced in 2020 that it had returned. It's since been revealed that he's been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
In his latest social media post on Monday, Johnny took to Instagram to share the latest on his journey with recent snaps which included a visit to the hospital.
He captioned the five-photo carousel as "few snaps from life lately", followed by a roller coaster emoji.
In the first snap, Johnny was alongside partner Tahnee Sims and her mum as the trio went out for food. Johnny and Tahnee were all smiles as they wore matching black attire, while the Tahnee's mum looked glamourous in a floral top.
Johnny then shared the all-too familiar photo of him in a hospital chair as he underwent another round of chemotherapy. He was playing on his phone with sandwiches on his lap and a coffee next to him during the gruelling procedure.
The former X Factor Australia star posed for a selfie with Tahnee's mum in the street before uploading a clip from the audience of a Rod Stewart concert. The selection of photos were finished with a close-up of food at a restaurant.
The post has amassed more than 8,900 likes on Instagram, with a number of his followers taking to the comments section to express well-wishes to Johnny.
Last month, he turned 35 after saying in September last year that he wanted to make it to Christmas.
Sharing a photo with celebratory dessert, he wrote: "35 and sure feeling it!!! Grateful for another lap around the sun, Thanks to everyone for all of the birthday wishes."
It was first announced that he had cancer in 2017. Johnny underwent an emergency operation that year to remove a brain tumour, after initially going to the doctors with a migraine.
He said in 2019 that he had "beaten" cancer but then announced in 2020 that his brain cancer had returned. And last year it was announced that his cancer was terminal.
He said on The Project last year: "At some point it will get me but I'm still fighting. [...] Looking up my diagnosis and my tumour, the average life expectancy was three years.
"And for me it's now been five years. I'm already winning. My goal now is to try and help as many people as I can and also live a happy life."
