Holyland residents say the area is being advertised by landlords as being "like Ibiza" to students.
The South Belfast area is a hotspot for anti-social behaviour in the city with local residents complaining of disorder throughout the year which includes hundreds of people having street parties until the early hours of the morning.
Those living in the area say that it is being advertised to students as "being like Ibiza" or somewhere that they are able to party freely, while other areas of Belfast such as Stranmillis are sold to them as "Lourdes".
