A Hollywood legend has died after a “brief, unknown illness,” according to her family.
The news of Raquel Welch’s death was confirmed on Wednesday evening and fan tributes have been rolling in from around the world.
Her death was confirmed to TMZ by a member of her family, who revealed that she died on Wednesday morning.

No further details of her passing have been released and the family has only confirmed basic details of their loss.
Welch first found fame back in 1966 when she starred in Fantastic Voyage and One Million Years B.C.
She became recognised as an international sex symbol, after appearing on film in the latter in a tiny deerskin bikini.
She later won a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her 1974 role in The Three Musketeers.
But her long list of TV credits also included Bewitched, Seinfeld, and McHale’s Navy, 100 Rifles and The Last of Sheila.
In tribute, the official account for Warner Music's Rhino Records Tweeted: "Oh no. RIP to the absolute legend RAQUEL WELCH."
"We've lost an absolute legend. Raquel Welch will be remembered for countless roles, but her highlight for me will forever be Myra Breckinridge," shared one fan.
While another added: : "RIP Raquel Welch. Her memory certainly will be a blessing."
