Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray wants to return from his torn ACL by Week 1. However, he has not put a timetable for his return. He doesn’t know.
One of his teammates, though, believes Murray is going to pull off something historic.
Murray’s good friend Marquise Brown, the Cardinals’ No. 1 receiver on the roster right now, believes Murray can make an Adrian Peterson-like return from a torn ACL.
He tweeted this in response to one about Peterson’s eight-month recovery.
1 up next 🙏🏿 https://t.co/uQ90gQlUZr

Peterson came back from his torn ACL in eight months and rushed for over 2,000 yards.
Brown said that Murray would be next.
Murray, who is on PUP and cannot currently practice, had surgery to repair his torn ACL and torn meniscus in January. If he were to return to play in Week 1, it would have been eight months. That seems unlikely, but Hollywood believes Murray can do it.
