New Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown gets a new number with his new team. Entering his fourth season in the NFL, he will have his third number.
He began his career wearing No. 15. Last season, when rules were loosened to allow all positions other than the offensive and defensive lines to wear single-digit numbers, Brown changed his number to No. 5. He wore No. 5 when he played at Oklahoma collegiately.
Cardinals kicker Matt Prater, though, wears No. 5.
Brown instead will wear No. 2 for the Cardinals. Running back Chase Edmonds wore it last season but left in free agency to sign with the Miami Dolphins.
He announced it via his social media accounts and the team also tweeted it out.
