Former Hollyoaks actor Joe Tracini has given an update to his fans and followers where he admitted that he 'hasn't been alright.'

The 33-year-old took to Twitter in a 44-second video where he explained how he had been feeling recently. He has previously opened up on how he struggles with Borderline Personality Disorder.

Yesterday, on April 3, he reassured fans that he was 'alright' but 'hadn't been'. The actor captioned his video as he wrote: "Just to let you know how I am. I do still have a chin, I’ve just not used the camera in a while. Hugs etc xx"

Talking to the camera, he said: "A friend of mine just got in touch - he's been trying for a while - to ask how I was. So I thought that I would tell you what I told him. And that is that I am alright.

"I haven't been [alright]. Everything had to stop for a little while so that I could hang about but I have hung about and I will get there. There is not here yet but it's always got here in the past."

He added: "I hope you're alright. I mean you're probably not because everything is s*** and it's freezing. But we will get there together - cold and covered in s***."

Fans of the soap star flooded the comments with well wishes. Hayley said: "So lovely to hear from you Joe. Glad you’re getting “there”. Just keep being you & finding the joy wherever you can. Sending good vibes your way, you always lift us (even when you’re struggling) & we love you for it!"

Laura said: "I was thinking about you this morning and how you were doing. I’m v glad you’re alright. And, yes, it’s bloody freezing but seeing you’re doing okay has warmed our cockles a bit."
