Former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna is set to return to the small screen after landing a role alongside Michelle Keegan.
Gemma, 38, played the role of Carmel McQueen on Hollyoaks from 2006 until 2014, when her character was killed off in a dramatic train explosion.
At the beginning of this year, Gemma confirmed that she had bagged herself a new TV role with a mirror selfie on Instagram.
Looking incredible in a blue denim jumpsuit and black specs, Gemma captioned the photo: "Excited to get back filming. Wish me luck #actor #actress #filming #filmingday #grateful #cantwait #actorslife."
Her 120,000 followers were quick to congratulate Gemma but were also keen to know which TV show or movie she was working on.
It's now been reported that Gemma will star in Sky One series Brassic with former Coronation Street actress Michelle.
Brassic first premiered on Sky One back in August 2019 and Michelle has played the role of Erin Croft since the beginning.
It stars the likes of Joe Gilgun, Damien Molony, Tom Hanson, Aaron Heffernan and Ryan Sampson, and series four is currently filming but it is unknown which part Gemma will play.
Following her time on Hollyoaks, Gemma starred in an episode of Doctors in 2017 and has also appeared in a number of reality TV shows such as All Star Family Fortunes, Splash! and Virtually Famous.
However, she also had somewhat of a career change too when she decided to train to become a yoga teacher.
Part of Gemma's Instagram bio reads: "Accredited Mind & Wellness CoachYoga Teacher, Meditation Teacher."
Gemma's venture on the side is called Mind and Wellness and the official website explains: "We regularly exercise our body, but what about our minds?
"The Mind and Wellness membership is essentially the gym membership for your mind!"
