Hollyoaks star Callum Kerr expecting first child eight months after split from fiancée

Hollyoaks star Callum Kerr has revealed that his girlfriend is expecting their first child together.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the future dad announced the joyous news as he gushed over his other half.

"Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a dad. I can’t wait to welcome this little one into the world with my love, my angel, my partner in crime," he penned alongside a sweet snap of himself cradling his girlfriend Lauren's bump.

The soap star, 29, also shared a sweet video of their baby's scan as he gushed over becoming a first-time-father.

It comes after Callum, 29, split from his fiancée eight months ago. The pair were only engaged for 11 months before they decided to call it quits on their love story.

Callum, who played PC George Kiss on the Channel 4 soap, removed all snaps of his former fiancée Olivia Anderson from his Instagram back in October, as the split was said to have been 'painful' for them both.

Olivia, from Austin, Texas, met Callum back in 2016, and the pair bonded over their love of travelling before Olivia moved to the UK to be with him. The former couple then both moved to her hometown in 2021 so Callum could focus on his acting career.

A source told The Sun at the time: "Sadly things haven't worked out between Callum and Olivia and they have called it quits. It's been painful for both of them."

Back in 2021, Callum, who appeared on Hollyoaks from January 2020 to May 2021, announced their engagement as he posted a snap of Olivia's engagement ring.

The Scottish actor recently announced the release of his first single, having become a regular on the Nashville country music scene following his departure from the soap.

The former Hollyoaks actor performed music for the soundtrack of Monarch, a Fox show he stars in alongside Susan Sarandon, Anna Friel and Beth Ditto.
