Jorgie Porter, 34, has opened up about her magical engagement to Ollie Piotrowski.
The Hollyoaks actress has revealed exactly how Ollie, 31, popped the question last month, with a romantic treasure trail of clues involved in the romantic proposal.
Jorgie and Ollie's festive engagement occurred just weeks after the Theresa McQueen actress shared the heartbreaking news that she had suffered a miscarriage with quadruplets during the summer of last year.
Speaking with HELLO! magazine, the newly-engaged soap star revealed Ollie asked for her hand in marriage three weeks before Christmas during a weekend at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland.
The businessman didn't just get down on one knee to pop the question last month.
Thoughtful Ollie created an epic treasure hunt of 12 photo clue related to his and Jorgie's relationship.
Each snap was captioned with a handwritten memory, and the final clue led the Channel 4 actress to an idyllic lakeside chalet.
"Suddenly Ollie was on one knee clutching an open box. I couldn't believe what was happening," Jorgie has recalled.
"I started crying and so did Ollie. He was so emotional he couldn't get his words out, so we hugged, he put the ring on my finger and then he asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes!"
"He'd stuck a Haribo ring on the back of one of pictures and written 'this is the ordinary', that it was leading to a proposal never once entered my head," the star admitted.
Jorgie went on to confess that she now realises all her past relationships before Ollie "were a learning experience in how to find The One".
The bride-to-be has previously explained how she never imagined herself walking down the aisle.
"I never in my life thought I'd ever be proposed to, so this is a surprise no matter what!" Jorgie earlier this month on her Loose Lips podcast.
Chatting with with co-host Sharon Carpenter, the Hollyoaks star spoke of "Cirque du Soleil-style" plans for her future wedding day.
"You and I talked about getting married and how your wedding ceremony might look, right? How you'll go flying across the ceiling, the hanging from the rafters, Cirque du Soleil-style, whipping off items of clothing, as you get down to the floor, to the altar, goodness knows how scantily clad you would be once you get down there," journalist Sharon asked her newly-engaged pal.
"But, you know, is this still the plan or are you saving that now for your honeymoon?"
Jorgie confessed that things may be a bit scaled back, but she still "100% wants flamboyant hats".
"I think, I'm still me at the end of the day. I didn't think it would actually happen in real life, so all those thoughts probably have to be a bit downscaled but then again, the audience would expect it," she replied to her co-host during her podcast catch-up.
Jorgie shared her engagement news on December 5, showing off her new ring in a cute snap where property developer Ollie kissed her cheek.
