Hollyoaks hunk Owen Warner has vowed to strip off in the I'm A Celebrity camp - but will struggle to cope without his mum in there.
The 25-year-old is well known for flashing his six pack and cuts his hair twice a week to look his best.
And asked about the jungle shower, he said: "I will definitely be showering. I think the other campmates would be complaining if I didn't.
"Oh you mean like being dramatic? (in the waterfall) of course I will!"
Owen, who plays Romeo Nightingale in the soap, then turned to talk about his beloved mum who he will miss enormously in camp.
He explained: "It's been difficult, that has probably been the hardest thing because I speak to her pretty much every day. Texting or FaceTiming her and just just waffling through. So it's been difficult. I've been writing down notes on some paper and given it to them to pass on and then get notes back.
"The final call I managed to hold it back but she was crying. She held it back until the last moment and then we said goodbye and then I heard her voice go. It was quite emotional.
I bought internet access for the whole flight over so I was just FaceTiming and texting her the whole time."
Owen also hopes the appearance on I'm A Celebrity could lead to more TV work.
He said: "I'm open minded. I up for anything that comes off the back of this. I am just excited to see what comes next.
My dream is to be acting, already I feel like I am living the dream so anything from this is a win really.
"As long as I'm not the first one out, I'll be happy. My mum is just happy with this trip to Australia.
She has told everyone she is coming out here and has been buying clothes with her mates for the trip. She is buzzing about it and I will take her out for a meal afterwards."
