Hollyoaks hunk Andrew Still is set for a huge soap swap as he's joining the cast of Coronation Street.
The soap star, 29, who also starred in Waterloo Road, is set to make his debut on the cobbels in a recurring guest stint later this week.
Andrew is set to play a character called Justin after making a comeback to acting.
The Scottish-born actor is best known for playing the original Joel Dexter on Hollyoaks between 2011 and 2013.
The much-loved actor is also well known for his role as Scott Fairchild in BBC school drama Waterloo Road, which he starred in for over a year back in 2015.
Following his year-long stint on Waterloo Road, Andrew decided to take a break from acting until 2021, when he jumped back into his beloved profession.
After his break, he landed a part in a film called Nobody Has to Know, alongside Game of Thrones and Gangs of London actress Michelle Fairley.
Following his movie debut, he jumped back into the world of TV acting and landed a role in Scottish BBC drama Granite Harbour.
Speaking previously about taking a break from acting, Andrew told the Daily Record: “After I came out of Hollyoaks, I had one of those periods where you are not sure where you are going.
“You know they talk about 90 per cent of actors being out of work – well, I had the out-of-work experience. I had a year solid of getting nothing.
"Those kind of periods make you doubt yourself. It was a pretty rotten period but it teaches you a lot about yourself.
“I am not a big a fan of the glitz and glamour. I just want to settle down and work.
"So you come out of a show like Hollyoaks and you don’t have the job but you have all the other stuff – you are still walking about the street and getting noticed.”
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
