Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey has reportedly been left “completely shaken” following the death of her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean.
The boyfriend of TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou, 33, is said to have been driving near Bohrum in Türkiye, when he 'lost control' of a vehicle the couple were in and was sadly unable to be saved by emergency services.
The crash, which has since been pictured in shocking snaps, is said to have left Yazmin, 28, receiving treatment in intensive care.
Actress Chelsee, 33, dated Jake in 2020 but remained friends after they struggled to make a long-distance relationship work.
A source told the Sun: “The news has understandably left Chelsee completely shaken.
“She knew Jake for a long time before they started seeing each other and things only ended because they lived too far apart.
“It’s obviously tragic news and Chelsee sends her condolences to all his family and friends.”
Jake previously dated co-star Lauren Goodger on and off from 2012 until around 2016. She is currently pregnant with her second child.
According to locals, emergency services rushed to the scene to tend to Yaz and 33-year-old Jake, but they were unable to save the businessman.
TOWIE stars and celebrity friends of Yaz and Jake have shared their shock and prayers on social media including Amy Childs, Chloe Brockett and Liam Gatsby.
Amy, 32, shared a photo of herself and the brunette on her Instagram page and posted a red heart emoji alongside a trio of praying hands emojis in the caption.
And 21-year-old Chloe shared a group photo with herself and Yaz in the picture on her Instagram story and penned: "Thinking of you yaz.. please keep yaz in your prayers tonight" followed by a red heart emoji.
While Liam, 33, wrote on his Instagram story: "RIP my bro We just lost a real one".
