Holly Willoughby's reunion with a former BBC co-star sparked concerns from viewers at home over 'dangerous' advice given during the segment.
Holly took an extended break from the ITV daytime show at the start of 2022, to film BBC challenge series Freeze the Fear, with extreme athlete Wim Hoff, the man who is famous for withstand low temperatures and held a Guinness World Record for swimming under ice. The programme aired on BBC One last summer and, months later, Wim appeared via video link on Monday's This Morning, to join Holly and co-host Dermot O'Leary.
Wim joined the presenters live from a bath of freezing cold water as he tried to get ITV viewers to follow his lead, by highlighting some of the health benefits of bathing in sub zero temperatures, describing it as "cardiovascular fitness."
However, as This Morning regular Matthew Wright got ready to get into an ice bath of his own, back outside the ITV studio in London, a number of people took to Twitter to highlight the 'dangers' of people taking Wim's advice and, arguing it was 'irresponsible' of producers to let him encourage people.

One viewer tweeted: "I’m a most certain I’d have a heart attack if I plunged into cold water!," to which another replied: "That can actually happen, it's potentially dangerous, also Wim Hoff is not a doctor, should he really be allowed to say it's good for us?"
A third posted: "Holly did all this with Wim Hoff on Freeze the Fear, jumping into a freezing cold ice bath etc could be potentially dangerous, that's a medical fact, why say It's good for you when doctors advice against it."
