Holly Willoughby has shared the "cloud hanging over" her family since Phillip Schofield's departure from This Morning.

In an open letter to her fans, she told of her family life over the past week with "very frustrated kids". This comes after she returned to our screens on June 5 for the first time without Phillip.

The veteran broadcaster quit the show and ITV after he admitted to having an affair with a younger colleague. Upon her return to This Morning, Holly came under fire since her infamous 'Are you ok?" speech with some branding her response disingenuous.
