Holy Willoughby has finally spoken out in full to address the scandal surrounding her former co-host Phillip Schofield, his affair with a young This Morning runner and how it's made her feel, in an explosive statement at the start of Monday's This Morning.
Since Phillip announced his exit from the ITV daytime show two weeks ago, after a week of him and Holly being plagued by rumours of a behindTrhe scenes 'feud,' ending their famously close friendship, Holly's reactions to everything that has been going on have been brief.
Giving an immediate response to his departure, Holly told her Instagram followers the This Morning sofa would 'never be the same,' but nearly a week later, Phillip then caused a storm when he then admitted to the relationship with the co-worker, which went on behind his wife's back.
Addressing that in a brief Insta post, Holly said: "It's taken time to process yesterday's news.
"When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not. It's been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie."
And now Holly has spoken out in full, taking just seconds to make a statement on her return to This Morning on Monday.
Taking a deep breath, she said: "I imagine you might be feeling a lot like I am: shaken, troubled, let down, worried for the well being of people on both sides of what's being going on. Full of questions.
"You, me and all of us at This Morning gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth, who acted in a way that they themselves, felt like they had to resign from ITV and step down from a career they loved."
She continued: "It's a lot to process. It's equally hard to see the toll it's taken on their own mental health.
"I think what unites us al now is a desire to heal for the health and well being of everyone. I hope that as we start this new chapter, we get back to a place of warmth and magic that this show holds for all of us and that we can fins strength in each other."
Holly added: "From the heart, can I just say thank you for all your kind messages. hank you for being here this morning. From all us; myself, Josie, Dermot, Alison and Craig and every single person that works on this show; we will continue to work hard every single day to bring you the show that we love."
