Holly Willoughby made an emotional return to This Morning today, after Phillip Schofield stepped down from ITV.
Holly, 42, returned to the daytime programme on Monday (June 5), for the first time since Mr Schofield dramatically quit the show, as well as his other ITV roles. She was joined by Josie Gibson, who regularly steps in when presenters are away.
As today's programme got under way, Holly became emotional as she addressed the nation.

She said: "Deep breath. Firstly are you okay? I hope so. It feels very strange indeed sitting here without Phil. I imagine you've been feeling like I have.
"Shaken, troubled, let down, and worried for the wellbeing of people on all sides of what's been going on, and full of questions. You, me, all of us at This Morning, gave our love and support to someone who was not telling truth and acted in a way they felt they had to resign from a career they loved.
"That is a lot to process and equally it has been hard to see the toll it has taken on their own mental health. I think what unites us all now is a desire to heal for the health and wellbeing of everyone, let's start a new chapter and get back to a place of warmth and magic for all of us.
"We can find strength in each other and from my heart thank you for all kind messages and thanks for being here this morning".
